Music at the Museum

Michigan Historical Museum, Lansing

We've added a wonderful dimension to your museum visit!

The Michigan Historical Museum presents the "Music at the Museum" series in conjunction with the Michigan State University College of Music. The series features a variety of student chamber music groups in an hour-long performance at the museum.

  • Today's performance features strings.
After the concert, student musicians will talk about their music selections and the composers. Refreshments will be served. Look for the final concert of the season on the second Sunday of April.

The Michigan Historical Museum—flagship of the Michigan Historical Museum System—is located inside the Michigan Library and Historical Center, 702 West Kalamazoo Street, Lansing. The museum and visitor parking are on the north side of Kalamazoo Street, two blocks east of M. L. King Jr. Boulevard. Admission and weekend parking are free.
