The Father Marquette National Memorial is located in Straits State Park, just west of I-75, off U.S. 2.
Admission
Admission to the national memorial is free. A Michigan State Parks motor-vehicle permit is required for entry to the park but is not required for a visit to the memorial.
2008 Season Dates and Hours
The Father Marquette National Memorial is open daily, 9 a.m. to dusk, from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. For fall hours, telephone (906) 643-8620.

How Much Time?
Please allow about one hour to take in the national memorial, a 15-station outdoor interpretive trail and panoramic views of the Mackinac Bridge. The park also offers camping, picnicking, hiking and other seasonal activities. See a map of the site.
Pets: Pets accompanied by and under the control of their human friends are welcomed on the grounds of this site. Pets may not enter any building. For
