This program provides an overview of the Every Child Ready to Read @ your library, an early literacy initiative from the Public Library Association and the American Library Association. Attendees will be trained to present workshops designed for caregivers, and to incorporate practical ways of developing a strong role for their libraries in early childhood communities. Participants will learn techniques on how to enhance storytimes by incorporating information for parents/caregivers into them.
