Great Start Readiness Program
Great Start Readiness Program
Need Free PreK for your 4-year-old?
The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan’s free PreK program for eligible four-year-olds. Ranked #1 in the U.S., it’s a safe place where children learn how to get along with others, share, take turns, and make friends. Math, reading, and thinking skills are taught every day through fun, hands-on activities. GSRP will help make sure your child is ready for kindergarten and beyond.
The Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP) invites early childhood curriculum developers to submit their programs for review. If you are interested in submitting an application, see the Curriculum Review Process section below or send questions to meinkeg@r2pconsultants.com.
