Governor Granholm Makes Appointments to Northern Michigan University Board of Control

LANSING - Governor Jennifer M. Granholm today announced the following appointments to the Northern Michigan University Board of Control:
Stephen F. Adamini of Marquette, former state representative and attorney at Kendricks, Bordeau, Adamini, Chilman & Greenlee, P.C. Mr. Adamini is appointed to represent the general public for a term expiring December 31, 2014. He succeeds Karl A. Weber whose term has expired.
Gilbert L. Ziegler of Charlevoix, president of Alken-Ziegler. Mr. Ziegler is appointed to represent the general public for a term expiring December 31, 2014. He succeeds Larry C. Inman whose term has expired.
These appointments are subject to Article V, Section 6 of the Michigan State Constitution of 1963. They stand confirmed unless disapproved by the Michigan Senate within 60 days.
