Who can I contact about my driving record?

The Secretary of State handles issues concerning driving records. Driving and vehicle records can be purchased for a fee through the Record Lookup Unit at the Secretary of State office.  Please visit the Driver and Vehicle Records website for further information. You can also contact the Bureau of Driver and Vehicle Records for further information at 1-888-SOS-MICH.

Who can I contact about appealing my driver license revocation or suspension?

The Secretary of State handles all issues concerning driver license suspensions. For information please visit their Getting Your License Back website. If you have questions regarding your appeal rights or the appeal process you can also contact the Driver Assessment and Appeal Division of the Secretary of State's office at 1-888-SOS-MICH.
