Lead Abatement

Where can I learn more about Michigan’s Lead Abatement Program?

The Lead Hazard Remediation and Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention programs are operated by the Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH). The MDCH website provides resources and links for parents, homeowners, clinicians, and lead professionals regarding lead poisoning and other related concerns. Local, state, and national contacts for lead concerns are also available at the MDCH website. Those interested in recent lead legislation can access the full text of the Lead Abatement Act of 2004.
