Gasoline

Where can I voice my concern about gas prices or gas gouging?

The Michigan Department of Agriculture holds as one of its top priorities the assurance of fairness and the protection of the consumer in regard to gasoline prices. To report suspected gasoline price gouging please fill out the Gasoline Price Gouging Complaint form. For further information please visit Michigan’s Gasoline Corner website maintained by the Department of Agriculture. This website features consumer tips and information on types of gasoline, as well as a link to our multi-agency gasoline website. In the event that a particular station is gouging, the Michigan Attorney General may file suit. If you are wishing to report concerns about the quality or quantity of gasoline you purchased please contact the Department of Agriculture at 1-800-MDA-FUEL.
