Who do I contact to contest Driver Responsibility Fees?

Driver Responsibility Fees have been instituted to encourage responsible driving behavior and practices.

If you have questions regarding the dismissal of No Proof of Insurance or other citations please contact your County Court. Please note that citation dismissals can only be handled through the Judiciary.

If you have questions regarding suspended drivers licenses, paying drivers license re-instatement fees, driving records, or citations that qualify for a Driver Responsibility Fee you should contact the Michigan Department of State Driver and Vehicle Record Information line: 1-888-SOS-MICH (1-888-767-6424).
