Whereas, The 31^st Annual Professional Landcare Network Student Career Days is being hosted by Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan; and,

Whereas, This event will be attended by students representing colleges and universities throughout the United States and representatives from the landscape contracting and manufacturing industries; and,

Whereas, Student Career Days provides students an occasion to demonstrate their technical and academic skills in pursuit of internship and career opportunities; and,

Whereas, Michigan is proud to join in welcoming all those participating in the Professional Landcare Network Student Career Days Conference; and now therefore be it,

Resolved, That I, Jennifer M. Granholm, Governor of the State of Michigan do hereby proclaim March 29-April 1, 2007, as Student Career Days.
