Operations Center Ice Cream Social Ends in Good Deed
On Wednesday, May 3rd, several managers in DIT sponsored an ice cream social for all 350 DIT employees at the Ops Center. After the festivites ended, lots of ice cream was left over. Not wanting to waste it, the employees decided to donate the unopened treats to the St. Vincent's Home for Children. Some 40 children enjoyed 21 gallons of ice cream and toppings!
Special thank you to the generous DIT employees who wanted to share with some special needs kids in Lansing.
