The Blues on the Square concert series runs Thursday nights in downtownLansing, June through August, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. on the 200 block of South Washington Square.  Seating is outdoors or in local establishments.  Blues acts include local opening performance and nationally-renowned blues artists.  On Thursday, June 19, Blues on the Square will include special stage mentions, seating, and specials at local businesses for all State Employees (with State ID)!

Construction Discount Cards - anticipated to be available by June 1:  The City of Lansing and downtown businesses have partnered to create a fun and useful wallet-sized "Construction Card" that includes a detour map around downtown during construction 2008, a listing of downtown businesses and summer events, as well as specials offered by local establishments upon presentation of the Construction Card.
