LANSING - Governor Jennifer M. Granholm today issued the following statement on the Gun Lake Tribe of Pottawatomi Indians Reservation proclamation:

"I am gratified that the Department of the Interior has taken this final administrative step allowing this significant economic project to move forward.  This project will generate much needed economic activity and will create thousands of construction and permanent jobs in the area."
