| Power Outage |
Governor Granholm addressed the citizens of Michigan on public television on
August 14 during the power outage that affected most of Southeast Michigan.
Granholm encouraged people to remain calm and to treat this situation as any
other power outage situation. Power was restored to all citizens by Saturday,
August 16. Following the address, Granholm spent the rest of the night into
the morning at the Emergency Operations Center where she could remain updated
on recent developments.
