Whereas, Education with respect to anesthesia patient care through conferences, courses and the publication of articles and newsletters work to maintain and upgrade the standards of anesthesia technologists and technicians; and,

Whereas, The American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians shares information and encourages cooperation with other health care professionals, thereby promoting public health awareness and understanding of the care with which they assist; and now therefore be it

Resolved, That I, Jennifer M. Granholm, Governor of the State of Michigan, do hereby proclaim March 31, 2003, as Anesthesia Technologist and Technician Day in Michigan.
