Michigan First Gentleman Daniel Granholm Mulhern recently participated in the kick-off for the 13th annual Michigan Harvest Gathering. The Gathering provides a way for state residents to donate non-perishable food items or funds to the Food Bank Council of Michigan for their network of local food banks around the state. The First Gentleman especially thanked State of Michigan employees for their generous contributions in the past, and hailed the effort as a great example of volunteerism.
