The First Gentleman outlined the Governor Granholm’s Economic Development initiatives for the State and he challenged business owners in the audience to make their workplaces great environments for employees as an effective strategy for improving the bottom line. Dan Mulhern also made a pitch for adults to volunteer as mentors within the Mentor Michigan program. Close to 400 people attended the event and the room was so full, folks needed to watch Dan on big screens posted around the room.
