WNV Testing

West Nile virus is a seasonal disease in Michigan with disease transmission possible from April through October. Testing methods have been developed for human, corvid, domestic animal and non-corvid wildlife specimens if WNV infection is suspected. Information about testing in humans, pets, wildlilfe, and horses is available under each of these topics on this site.
