What are Tribal-State Gaming Compacts?

They are written agreements between the tribal communities and the State of Michigan signed by the Governor and give the MGCB staff oversight responsibility for the state's Native American casinos.   There are currently 12 State-Tribal Compacts signed in 1993, 1998, & 2007.
