Closures and detours may take place due to improvement projects, repairs and weather-related events. Find information on temporary facility closures and trail detours in DNR facilities, including state-designated trails, boat launches, parks and campgrounds. Intermittent closures may not always be posted.
Following the March 15-16 blizzard in the Upper Peninsula and snowy and icy conditions in the northern Lower Peninsula, outdoor enthusiasts are urged to use caution before heading to storm-affected areas. Watch for falling trees and branches. Expect limited access and snow-covered, impassable roads.
