Tawas Point Celebration Days offers fun activities and live entertainment.

We hope you will join us for this 27th annual celebration of our American heritage. The weekend includes historical and educational displays, period encampments, traditional music and children's games. Watch demonstrations of and try your hand at soap carving, stone polishing and lace work. You can also take part in a fishing derby—it's a Free Fishing Weekend!

Take a tour of the Tawas Point Lighthouse for only $2 per person—Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This event is free of charge, although a Michigan State Parks Recreation Passport is required for park entry. For more information, please send us an e-mail or telephone (989) 362‑5658.
