Strong Performance Charters of South Haven graciously donated an afternoon of fishing this spring on Lake Michigan for several members of the Fishin' Weather Project. The project, made up of 6th to 8th grade boys at Milwood Magnet Middle School in Kalamazoo, introduces urban youth to opportunities outside the boundaries of their neighborhoods, through meteorology and fishing.
Audubon Society of Kalamazoo (ASK) is dedicated to Wildlife Conservation, Nature Education and Outdoor Recreation.
Van Buren County Conservation District is a local agency established to coordinate and implement conservation and natural resource programs at the local level in cooperation with local entitites as well as federal and state agencies.
Kalamazoo Nature Center inspires people to care for the environment by providing experiences that lead them to understand their connection to the natural world.
Michigan Trout Unlimited is the coordination and representation for 20 local chapters of TU and over 7,000 individuals, devoted to the conservation, protection and restoration of Michigan's coldwater fish and their watersheds.
