Have an Interpreter come to your classroom

Children inside a tent, inside a classroom

The park interpreter is available to come to your school as a guest speaker and present outreach programs. Most programs include an outdoor component that can be done on the playground or anywhere on the school property.

Program topics include:
  • Invasive Species
  • Camping 101
  • Michigan Mammals
  • The Gray Wolf
  • Birds, Beaks & Binoculars

Outreach programs are free for schools and organizations thanks to those who support Michigan State Parks through the Recreation Passport.

Programs can also be designed specifically for your classroom needs. Contact the park interpreter for more information or to schedule a program.
