How to Apply

Effective August 1, 1998, Civil Service Rule 1-7 requires that all persons newly hired into State government positions submit to and pass a pre-employment drug test prior to their actual appointment to the classified service. Additionally, current employees not occupying a test-designated position shall submit to a drug test if the employee is selected for a test-designated position. 

Persons interested in DNR vacancies must meet the minimum education and experience as listed on the Civil Service Job Specifications. Job Specifications.

All applicants applying for positions must use the Employment Application Form #PR-7123 to accompany their resumes. A separate application form, cover letter, and resume must be submitted for EACH vacancy an applicant is interested in applying for. If the position you are applying for requires college education, a copy of all your college transcripts must accompany your application materials.
