Boy Scouts, earn the Showman badge during a fun overnight program at the Michigan Historical Museum.
Campers will write their own play, create their characters as puppets and then perform for the rest of the campers. Local actors will be available to assist and to give a short performance. Campers will also play a dulcimer, experience folk music and sing a song or two. Fulfills badge activities 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 16 and 17.
Fee: $30 per child; $10 per chaperon.
Fees include a nighttime snack, breakfast, a certificate of completion for the Showman badge, a Michigan Historical Museum patch and all activity supplies.
