Be a lightkeeper at Tawas Point Lighthouse!
Are you looking for a one-of-akind stay at beautiful Tawas Bay?
Read a 2008 article from the Bay City Times .
Download the 2010 lightkeeper application
We are making the restored lightkeeper's quarters available for your dream destination.
Imagine having your cup of coffee as you look out over the bay . . . or being lulled to sleep by waves hitting the shore.
Inside the lightkeeper's quarters.
There is an application process and a rental fee. You must be at least 18 years old and agree to lead lighthouse tours during your stay.
But, really, isn't the view worth it?
Tawas Point Lighthouse is part of the Michigan Historical Center's Michigan Historical Museum System. Visit our sites by clicking any museum name in the column at the far left on this page.
