• General Public Acquiring Parcels from the DNR
In reference to the Land Consolidation, General Public refers to any private individual or party, or any other entity desiring land from the DNR.

• DNR'S Desired Outcome
The Department's interest is in acquiring private parcels within Project Boundaries or other lands of significant resource or recreational value. For this reason, offers of Exchange can take precedence over any other transaction of Class 3 parcels, including offers to other Governmental Agencies and ACO's.

• Exchanging Parcels
Class 3 Parcels will be available by Exchange for 60 days.

• Sealed Bid Auction Process
Once parcels are no longer in the Exchange phase, they will be available during one of the four scheduled Sealed Bid Auctions held each year. NOTE: exchange applications may be submitted during the auction bid period. The Direct Link (URL) for the Sealed Bid Auction is www.michigan.gov/landforsale

• Direct Purchase of Class 3 Parcels
Any remaining Class 3 parcels after the associated Sealed Bid Auction is concluded; are posted with a minimum price and available on a first offer received basis.
