Special Turkey Hunting Opportunities for Youth and Hunters with Disabilities

Fort Custer Special Turkey Hunt Successful Hunters Fort Custer Special Turkey Hunt Successful Hunters

There will be a youth hunting opportunity at the Muskegon County Wastewater System on April 24-25. Plans include a youth turkey hunting workshop on Saturday Jan. 23 and a youth orientation field day on Saturday, April 3. All participants must attend both events to be eligible. The Fort Custer Training Center near Battle Creek offers turkey hunting opportunities for properly licensed youth in late April (Hunt No. 301). A mentor is available for each participant, and the program includes a workshop the day before the hunt. Special hunting opportunities also are available for properly licensed hunters with a disability during May (Hunt No. 234).
