Waterloo Recreation Area--Creatures of the Ice

At 11 a.m. Thursday, July 2, children can be paleontologisdts and chip an Ice Age animal out of the ice, while learning about animals that roamed Earth during that time. For more details contact the park at (734)475-3170. All motor vehicles entering a state park or recreation area must display a Motor Vehicle Permit, available for purchase at the park entrance and headquarters. Cost is $24 for a resident annual and $6 for a resident daily. A nonresident annual is $29 and a nonresident daily is $8.
