This week will focus on the natural beauty and recreational offerings this unique park has for winter visitors. We will celebrate the holidays that occur in the winter months; offer programs and speakers on the winter wildlife; demonstrate winter activities in the park like snow shoeing, cross country skiing, winter camping, birding and ice fishing. We will also have presentation on how winter affects the park on a year-round basis such as the levels of Lake Michigan. For more information call the park at 231-843-2423.
