Newaygo State Park--Dog Days of August 5K Run

Dog Days of August with a 5K run or non-competivite walk through beautiful Newaygo State Park. The race course takes you on a tour through our rustic campgrounds, down to our boat launch, and through wooded park roads. Runners and walkers alike can enjoy the peaceful, natural beauty of our park and have a great time in the out-of-doors. For more details contact the park at Apr/Nov: 231-856-4452 or Dec/Mar: 231-745-2888. All motor vehicles entering a state park or recreation area must display a Motor Vehicle Permit, available for purchase at the park entrance and headquarters. Cost is $24 for a resident annual and $6 for a resident daily. A nonresident annual is $29 and a nonresident daily is $8.
