The South Eastern Livingston County Recreation Authority ( SELCRA) is partnering with Island Lake Recreation Area for 2008's Summer day camp  program

 Nature Adventure - Hiking - Swimming - Bug Hunts - Scavenger hunts - Homemade Bird Feeders. Looking for something to do this summer? Send your kids to SELCRA Day camp. Each day camp session is Monday-Thursday 9am-3pm, campers are asked to bring a sack lunch. SELCRA day camp is for boys and girls ages 7-12. Day camp will be held at Island Lake Recreation area in Brighton. All participants must display a 2008 State Park Motor Vehicle Permit to enter the park. Purchase an annual pass for $24 OR purchase a daily pass each time you enter the park. Activities include swimming, hiking, arts & crafts, recreational activities, educational activities, sports, and much more! Summer camp is a way in which your child can learn new skills, meet new friends, and build relationships. Our staff will ensure your child will be in a safe environment, and act as positive role models for your children. We believe trained and qualified staff is paramount to meeting this mission! Knowledge of age appropriate programming and facility development are key components. So if your kids are looking for something fun and educational this summer, send them to SELCRA day camp!  Each 4 day week will feature a different theme.
