2009 Youth Waterfowl Weekend

The youth waterfowl hunting weekend will be September 19-20, 2009 statewide for properly licensed youths 10-15 years of age. The daily limit includes ducks, mergansers, geese, coots and moorhens. Youths must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or someone 18 years or older designated by their parent or guardian. The adult will not be allowed to hunt ducks, mergansers, coots, or moorhens and will not be required to have a waterfowl hunting license. The daily limits and species restrictions are the same as those allowed in the regular season. Daily shooting hours are listed in the Migratory Bird Hunting Hours Table.
