Printing Services are divided into two programs, the Consolidated Print Center and Print & Graphic Services. The CPC focuses on providing print for variable data reports generated from mainframe or client server systems. The PGS focus is offset and copying service.

CONSOLIDATED PRINT CENTER (CPC)

The Consolidated Print Center is the mainframe printing solution of state agencies. We print variable data. Mainframe reports are printed using the customer's format and /or electronic forms to display the highest quality readable information. The CPC accepts electronic reports 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. Our operators are available on a 18-hour a day, 5 day per week schedule and as needed for special projects. An NT Server network is used to receive print files from mainframes and client server applications via the State of Michigan's LMAN TCP/IP connection. Printing is done on a wide variety of 17 roll-fed, cut-sheet, pin-feed laser, and impact printers.

PRINT AND GRAPHIC SERVICES (PGS)

Print and Graphic Services offers a wide variety of services to help you get your project completed. Capabilities include a full range of high-quality brochures, newsletters, reports, books, posters, letterhead, business cards, forms (including carbonless), envelopes, and much more. Full-service printing is offered from black ink to full four-color process printing. Print can be from furnished electronic copy or a complete graphic design service is available. Services also include wide format poster and banner printing and building signage.

In addition to offset printing, PGS offers high-quality analog and digital print including: copying, color copying, variable (client server) data printing, MAIN report printing, tab printing, Print on Demand and printing of data from agency networks.
