New Green Toilet and Shower Building at Otsego State Park

sustainable green design rain garden solar energy
The new Toilet and Shower Building at Otsego State Park is complete. Using many of the same sustainable design principles as the Grand Haven Toilet and Shower Building, this version incorporates site-specific features such as rain gardens to handle runoff, and uses a slightly different palette of materials in keeping with its wooded site. Jan Miller and Ken Dao of the Design and Construction Division, DMB Facilities Administration, provided project direction and representation for this project.
