What is an alternatively fueled vehicle?

Answer:
Vehicles that run on E-85, alcohol, compressed natural gas, propane, or a combination of these fuels and gasoline. They are generally are more friendly to the environment and will reduce our dependence on foreign oil imports. A specific percentaqe of new vehicle acquisitions are mandated by the federal government, on an annual basis. Your acceptance in using these vehicles will enable the State of Michigan to meet the mandates and by fueling with the alternative fuel you participate in cleaner air for Michigan.
