Managing Company Tactical Operations - Decision Making (Prerequisite for CO I & II)
Course Description: This course provides an effective approach to command decision making and organization. The focus of these five modules is a review of the command sequence and an overview of incident command for structural fire fighting. Key content includes: The Command Sequence, Size-up, Developing an Action Plan, Implementing the Action Plan, and Introduction to the Incident Command System.
The MCTO series MUST be taken in the sequence indicated below. Course sponsors, course managers, and instructor's are requested to strictly enforce this requirement.
Student Prerequisites: · Eighteen years of age or older · Member of an organized Michigan Fire Department · Proof of successful completion of MCTO:P
