 | May 15 / 05 - May 20 / 05 | Mini Adjustment Program in Escanaba May 15-20, 2005 This weeklong event in Escanaba will provide Michigan Commission for the Blind (MCB) clients with training in a variety of skills of blindness, including cane travel, Braille, adaptive kitchen skills, dealing with time and money, and adaptive computer technology.

 |  | May 26 / 05 | "Transportation and Mobility Options," A Workshop on Maximizing Capabilities If You're Blind or Visually Impaired, Ann Arbor, May 26, 2005 The Michigan Commission for the Blind is offering this second session of a seven-part workshop on how to accomplish various daily tasks, taught by certified Vision Rehabilitation Therapists. The May 26 session will focus on information on the Ann Arbor Transportation Authority, para-transit, volunteers and paid drivers, local taxi services, orientation and mobility training, and using dogs and canes.
