This weeklong event will provide Michigan Commission for the Blind (MCB) clients with training in a variety of skills of blindness, including cane travel, Braille, adaptive kitchen skills, dealing with time and money, and adaptive computer technology.

The Consumer Involvement Council, made up of representatives from organized consumer groups, service providers and current agency clients, provides formal consumer input to the Michigan Commission for the Blind Board.

The meeting will be held at the SILC Offices in Lansing from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Service Delivery Focus Design Team meets to discuss Michigan Commission for the Blind (MCB) services and improve delivery of quality services.
