Yes, but only in response to specific Requests for Proposals. Unsolicited proposals are not accepted. Check the News and Information on our home page for current proposals. Also public agencies can apply to the Low-Income and Energy Efficiency Fund administered by the Michigan Public Service Commission. Check the MPSC web site for Requests for Proposals. Each year the Energy Office offers Community Energy Project Grants to public and non-profit organizations. These grants are up to $6,000 and can be used for solar demonstrations, statewide energy conferences and events, bioenergy/biofuels education, green commuting projects, and green building projects. Project categories can change from year to year.
