Who We Are

The Michigan Biomass Energy Program (MBEP) is located in the Michigan Department of Consumer and Industry Services/Energy Office. MBEP receives its primary funding from the Great Lakes Biomass State Regional Partnership (GLBSRP). Other states participating in the GLRBEP include: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, and Wisconsin. The GLBSRP is one of five regional offices in the U.S. Department of Energy's Regional Biomass Energy Program, which was established in 1983.
