Bloodborne Infectious Diseases Reference Material:

Purpose:
This program is designed to provide an overview of the MIOSHA Part 554 Bloodborne Infectious Diseases Standard. This training program does NOT fulfill all the employee training requirements described in the Bloodborne Standard nor is it intended to replace facility specific training.

It is designed as a "Train the Trainer" Program. Providing bloodborne infectious diseases information to those who train employees who are at risk of occupational exposure. The training program will also provide additional resources to assist trainers in becoming more knowledgeable of topics related to bloodborne infectious diseases.

Computer Requirements:
This program was created in Microsoft PowerPoint 2000. If you do not have Microsoft PowerPoint 2000 or more current version of Microsoft PowerPoint software on your computer, you can still participate in the training by downloading a FREE copy of PowerPoint Viewer.

Depending on the speed of your internet connection, the download of the PowerPoint Viewer and the Bloodborne Online Training Modules may take several minutes. Please be patient.
