Michigan Financial Institutions Bureau Commissioner Patrick M. McQueen was elected as Member-at-Large of the Board of Directors of the Conference of State Bank Supervisors at its Annual Meeting in May of this year. The CSBS Board of Directors is its primary policy-making body, whose members serve one-year terms. The Board meets at least three times a year to direct and approve CSBS activities.

CSBS is the professional organization of the state officials who charter, regulate, and supervise the nation's 6,802 state-chartered commercial banks and 433 state-regulated branches and agencies of foreign banks.
