Michigan Financial Institutions Bureau Commissioner Patrick M.
McQueen today announced the appointment of Peggy L. Bryson and Roger
W. Little as Deputy Commissioners of the Bureau.
Ms. Bryson joined the FIB as a bank examiner in 1977, following
her graduation from Michigan State University. Later that year,
she accepted a position as consumer complaint specialist with the
Bureau's Policy Division. Subsequent positions with the FIB included
policy analyst and assistant to the Commissioner before her 1986
appointment as Director of Research and Urban Investment. Peggy
was appointed to her current position, Director of the Policy and
Legislation Division, in March of 1998.
Ms. Bryson and her husband reside in Mason, Michigan.
Mr. Little began his FIB career as a credit union examiner thirteen
years ago. He later served as a Regional Supervisor in both the
Credit Union and Bank and Trust Divisions, before being appointed
Director of the Credit Union Division. Roger is a graduate of Central
Michigan University, a Certified Public Accountant, and a graduate
of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.
Mr. Little and his family live in the central Michigan area.
The Michigan Financial Institutions Bureau is the primary regulator
of Michigan's state-chartered banks, credit unions, savings banks,
and over 4000 other licensed lenders.
