The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today reconciled Consumers Energy Company's 2006-2007 gas cost recovery (GCR) costs and revenues.
The MPSC determined the utility company over-collected $5,333,121 (including interest) that will be returned to customers by rolling that amount into the company's next GCR plan year.
The company filed an application with the Commission on
June 29, 2007
seeking reconciliation of its GCR costs and revenues for the period of
April 1, 2006
to
March 31, 2007
under Public Act 304.
The MPSC is an agency within the Department of Labor & Economic Growth.
