Quality Aluminum Products to Receive SHARP Award Recognition for Workplace Safety & Health Excellence - News Release

June 16, 2008 – Quality Aluminum Products, Inc. of Hastings will receive the Michigan SHARP Award for workplace safety and health excellence from the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) at a special ceremony and luncheon Wednesday, June 18, 12:00 noon, at the County Seat Restaurant in Hastings.

Acceptance into the Michigan Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) is confirmation that a company has achieved safety and health excellence far beyond their peers.  The MIOSHA program is part of the Michigan Department of Labor & Economic Growth (DLEG).

MIOSHA Deputy Director Martha Yoder will present the Michigan SHARP Award to the Quality Aluminum Safety and Health Committee, who will accept on behalf of all employees.  Employees and guests will attend the presentation and luncheon.

Quality Aluminum Products, Inc. is a family owned and operated manufacturer of high-quality aluminum building products since 1990.  The Hastings facility manufactures aluminum siding and accessories for residential, commercial and government applications.
