MPSC Reconciles Michigan Consolidated Gas Company's 2005-2006 Gas Cost Recovery Revenues and Expenses

The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today authorized Michigan Consolidated Gas Company to reconcile its 2005-2006 gas cost recovery (GCR) revenues and expenses.

The Commission found a net over-recovery of $20,265,902, including interest, and directed the utility to roll that amount into its 2006-2007 GCR reconciliation.

The utility filed an application with the MPSC on June 30, 2006, seeking reconciliation of its GCR revenues and expenses for the 12-month period ended March 31, 2006.

The MPSC is an agency within the Department of Labor & Economic Growth.
