Narcotics paraphernalia prohibited on licensed premises

Administrative Rule 436.1011(6)(e) prohibits narcotics paraphernalia from being used, stored, exchanged or sold on the licensed premises.

  • The Commission, in consultation with several urban enforcement teams, determined that "love roses" or "rose pipes" DO qualify as narcotics paraphernalia and any licensee who is using, storing, exchanging or selling them will be cited with an MLCC violation.
  • The Commission also suggests that Chor Boy® (steel wool pads that are commonly used inside the tube to conduct heat, not be used, stored, exchanged or sold in any form other than that packaged by the manufacturer.
