Can an individual use the title or designation “loan officer”, “loan originator”, “mortgage loan officer”, or “mortgage loan originator”? |
 |
An individual may not use the title or designation “loan officer”, “loan originator”, “mortgage loan officer”, or “mortgage loan originator” beginning January 1, 2009 unless the individual is registered as a loan officer registrant. |

Can a mortgage loan officer registrant use the word “registered”, “certified”, or any word in his or her title or designation? |

A mortgage loan officer registrant may not use the words “registered”, “certified”, or any other word of similar import in his or her title or designation unless approved by the Commissioner. |

What may be disclosed, provided, or made available to the public regarding loan officer registrants or loan officer registration applicants? |

The name, business address, and business telephone numbers of the loan officer registrant or loan officer registration applicant. |

What shall not be disclosed, provided, or made available to the public regarding loan officer registrants or loan officer registration applicants? |

Personal identifying information of the loan officer registrant or loan officer registration applicant. |

What notification must a Loan officer registrant and a Licensee or Registrant submit to the Commissioner when added or terminating a Loan Officer registrant? |
 |
A loan officer registrant is to provide written notification to the Commissioner within 10 (calendar) days after the following occurs:
- Loan officer registrant relationship with a licensee or registrant is terminated.
- Loan officer registrant begins a relationship with a new licensee or registrant.
- Change in loan officer registrant home address.
- Change in loan officer registrant personal telephone number.
- Change in loan officer registrant personal electronic mail address.
Loan officer is convicted of or pleads guilty or no contest to:
- A misdemeanor involving embezzlement, forgery, fraud, a financial transaction, or securities.
- A felony
A licensee or registrant shall provide written notice to the Commissioner within 20 (calendar) days after:
- Hiring or engaging an individual as a loan officer.
- Terminating an individual as a loan officer.
