The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) today approved a settlement agreement authorizing Presque Isle Electric & Gas Co-op to implement its 2008 power supply cost recovery (PSCR) factor.

The MPSC approved the settlement agreement authorizing the utility to charge a PSCR factor of up to $0.02418 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) in 2008.  The company and the MPSC staff participated in the settlement.

The utility filed an application with the MPSC on this matter on Sept. 20, 2007.

The MPSC is an agency within the Department of Labor & Economic Growth.
